When you place an order with us, you will be required to provide some information in order for us to process your order. eg, Full name, address, email address and phone number. Please be advised, we will NEVER provide, sell, or loan this information to a third party, unless we have your permission, or are required by law to do so. It will only be used to enable us to fulfill your order in our secure website system, emails, and held safely within the Woolly Pedlar office, for the sole purpose of handling your orders placed with us, and being retained only for as long as required by law for tax reporting purposes. If you subscribe to our mailing list or email marketing newsletter, we and our newsletter partner, Mailchimp, will hold your details securely but solely for this purpose.  You are free to unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time, and have this opportunity by using the unsubscribe button at the foot of every newsletter, or by emailing us at We assure you we will never spam you or send you unsolicited emails, only those we feel you would be interested in, relating to new products, special offers or upcoming events or other news from The Woolly Pedlar.

When placing an order with us, it is your responsibility to provie us with accurate personal details and shipping information. We cannot be held responsible for non delivery of your order if your details prove to be inaccurate or incomplete.

When your order is made online and you chose to pay by Paypal, the order confirmation you receive from Paypal is not a confirmation of your order with us. We will check the details we receive from Paypal and reference them to the details you provide at the point of ordering, and will query any discrepencies. this is to ensure accuracy and to enable us to fulfil your order in a timely manner. an order will only be confirmed once it has been verified by us.

We cannot be held responsible for any error that occurs whilst you are placing your order via our shopping basket – technical or otherwise that is beyond our control. If you experience any problem whilst placing an order, please contact us immediately. We will aim to resolve the problem if we can as soon as possible. We cannot dispatch a queried order until the problem has been resolved and payment received in full or the order has been successfully canelled if need be.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, and the fact we use recycled knitwear, each one is individual. We aim to use top quality wool knitwear, but occasionally there may be a small hole or bobble. This can either be repaired or a full refund offered. Please contact us if there are any problems.


All prices quoted on the website are in pounds sterling (£) and do not include VAT. The cost of postage and packaging is included in the price for UK orders. for orders overseas, the coast of postage and packaging is extra and is calculated at checkout. The prices quoted for goods are subject to change at any time due to the changes in manufacturing costs, and we therefore reserve the right to change prices at any time.


Payment for goods, packaging and postage must be made in full before any goods are dispatched. We do not offer a credit service. The only exception to this is for bespoke orders. We will email you a 50% deposit invoice to be paid via paypal or bank transfer in advance of making your order. The balance of which, including any packing and delivery charges, will be sent to you prior to completion. Dispatch of a special or custom order will only be completed on cleared payment of the full balance due.

Online payment is handled securely by Stripe and Paypal and is only accepted via Paypal, debit or credit card.

Payment of your order made via Paypal, or Stripe is completely secure. You don’t need a paypal account to make a purchase as you have the option to pay by credit / debit card. WE don’t have access to or retain any paymanet information or card details as this is solely handled by the payment gateway providers mentioned above. They in turn are subject to assessment to ensure compliance to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) at Level 1 – the highest level.

We cannot be held responsible for any charges incurred by you from your credit card company or bank in relation to the processing of any order made with us. Please note, that if for any reason, your card payment is not authorized by your bank / credit card company, we will not be able to proceed with your order and it will be cancelled.


With the exception of bespoke orders, which will be handled seperately, we aim to dispatch your order to your specified address within 7 working days, not including weekends and bank holidays. If this is not possible or something is out of stock we will advise you with an email within 48 hours of your order. If you have placed a bespoke order, then completion of this will depend on the right materials being to hand. As we use recycled knitwear, we cannot guarantee when a particular colourway in knitwear will turn up. We will always give an estimate where possible of expected delivery time, but this is always dependent on the right knitwear becoming available. Hence it is not always possible to give an exact time frame for bespoke orders.

During busy periods (ie bank holidays, Christmas and New Year) it may take a little more time than usual to get your order to you, so please allow extra time. We cannot be held responsible for delays due to strikes (postal or otherwise) , adverse weather conditions of Acts of God which may effect delivery of your order.

Small items will be sent using first class post, and larger items by courier, requiring a signature on delivery, which gives us peace of mind, that your order has arrived safely.

International Shipping

The Woolly Pedlar cannot be held responsible for any taxes, charges or customs duties levied or restrictions enforced by your country, in transit or on arrival of your package – this is your sole responsibility, and any fees, duties etc are payable by you.

Goods will be sent with Royal Mail, International Tracked and Signed, 5-7 days but please allow extra time for good to pass through customs.

We hope you will be entirely happy with your Woolly Pedlar order, but if for any reason you wish to make a return, please contact us via email within 14 days of receiving your order. You can return goods for a full refund, providing they have not been washed or worn. you will be responsible for covering the cost of postage to return your order, ad you must obtain proof of posting on dispatch.

Any refunds we deem owing to you will be make through paypal within 30 day of receiving the goods in a resaleable condition.

You must notify us promptly and in any event within 48 hours if your order has been damaged in transit. in these circumstances you must also keep all packaging as it ay be required in the event of making a claim against the delivery company.


Every item we make is handmade with love and care but in the unlikely event your ordered good are faulty, you must notify us within 48 hours. We will provie an alternative product or offer you a full refund for the cost of the goods and any postage incurred in returning the faulty goods to us.


You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days. You are responsible for ensuring the goods are kept in a good and unused / unopened condition and return to us within 14 day. You are reponsible to packing them securely and returning them to us at your expense.

We will refund you ia paypal within 30 days of receiving the goods, provided they are in resaleable condition.

We retain ownership of all goods ordered until cleared payment from you has been received.

Statutory rights

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Copyright Notice

We retain copyright on all materials on thsi website, including photoographs and images, videos, page design, text, product names and descriptions of our products and these may not be reproduced in whole or in pary by electronic or other means without prior written concent. We will take legal action against anyone found to have breeched this copyright by using images, text, copying product designs without our prior knowledge or permission.

Modifications to our Terms and Privacy Notice

The Woolly Pedlar reserves the right to modify these Terms and Privacy Policy and the updating of the policy on our website will be considered as the notification of a change.
