Hot Water Bottle Cover – Blues. Recycled Lambswool.
A cosy hot water bottle cover, handmade patchwork style using squares of recycled lambswool.
Handmade in Northumberland from locally sourced, recycled wool knitwear .
An original Woolly Pedlar design, a unique upcycled product, and one of a kind item that cannot be replicated. The colourway on this product remains the same, with pinks, yellow and brown, but the placement of the squares may vary.
Upcycling means to use waste and transform it into something new, more pleasing and with a new use. It is the process of adding value to preloved items through design. I gather locally sourced recycled wool knitwear for upcycling. There are so many textiles just shipped abroad or thrown into landfill. I am on a mission to recycle waste wool, be it from the second hand clothing sector, or from the few remaining UK factories that manufacture wool knitwear in the UK.
All jumpers have a high wool content, including lambswool with has been selected for it’s drape, softness and texture. Sewn with seams shwing, which adds another dimension and textural quality to the piece.
All designs are one offs, one of a kind, unique products. so you will never find anyone else wearing exactly the same creation as you.
By buying an upcycled Woolly Pedlar design, you are helping to reduce the drain on the planet’s precious resources
One size fits all.
